Am I completely out of touch? I'm seeing Maccabees floated as a headliner for Tramlines/Y Not/Truck by several people, but surely they're not of that level? They're like a sub at most in my eyes.

They headlined an APE day so definitely could do it.

I would not be happy if they were Headliners.  86TV's albeit the same band played the Leadmill tent 18 months ago.

Problem with Tramlines is majority of tickets have usually gone by the time acts announced so not under the same pressure for big acts.

How did it sell?

Fine for APE.

APE is much harder show to sell i'd argue given how much competition London has, weaker supports and higher ticket prices.

Yeah, very true. Suppose I'm part of the problem there as somebody who's bought tickets before the lineup every single time bar one since 2019. The one year we didn't was last year, and we didn't end up going cause the lineup was very poor in the end (for us, if you liked it, hope you had a blast!).

Bandisintown leaked Bristol 23rd, Brighton 25th and Leeds 31st July for Maccabess so...maybe? Seems tight though for a Tramlines.

Well this is different! Nice idea but can't get to Hillsborough on a Friday.

More info on what donations they would like
