TOP are headlining, that wouldn't make sense. But there's no darkness to be had in NOS Alive's venue, even if Nick were to play at 2am. That's just not the kind of vibe you should be looking for in this  case

In this case I can see both of them headlining. As a big fan I wanted to see Cave in Portugal, but now it’s less appealing to me.

Pushing the idea that everyone now listens to a little bit of everything to the extreme right?

In a way, yeah, but at the same time a festival's gotta do what it can do. They won't be saying no to either of these two artists if having them play on the same day is the only way to book them

They were 🙂 As well as Mumford and Sons, Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle and Sabrina. Doubt Nos will have them all though since Mad Cool cater more artists.

At this point I can't see Sabrina playing here, NOS Alive's lineup really seems geared towards having someone like Foos headlining the second day, which would be very befitting for a Deftones kind of addition!

Alas... My out-of-this-world-delusionally-optimistic-absurdist-hopes for Radiohead... Inch closer and closer to extinction. Like, there's only 2mm left.

I think Nos and Werchter will get Foos and Mad Cool will get Sabrina. I think their festival is more open and accessible to it.

Yes hopefully a Foo Fighters/Deftones combo.

And totally agree about Radiohead. It likely won't happen this year but that would be my dream booking!

its pretty clear the 2nd day will be either Foo Fighters or Sabrina Or Billie.

i think it will be Foo Fighers. Either Sabrina or Billie might pop up at RiR

now give me that trio covoes!!! Foo Fighters/Deftones/A Perfect Circle

RIR would make more sense for Sabrina given the fact they already booked Katy as well. I would say I don't think she fits it but they booked Sam Smith. On the whole though, she's a different kind of pop act.

RiR communicated Katy Perry's day as the "pop day" so I don't see where Sabrina can feet, but who knows... On Billie's case they can call it another thing.

Mad Cool returns to 4 days for 2026 (July 8 - 11th). imO a strong indication for Foos being the missing headliner for the 10th, with them probably headlining Mad Cool on the 8th, since they don't do back to back nights in different cities anymore.

I think the day Everything is New shared the cover of Foo Fighters’ new single was the day they “confirmed” them at NOS Alive.
The question for me is where Sabrina is on this game.

Don't Expect Deftones on Nos Alive

They were announced in different days. So it's not a oficial co-headline

I guess we'll get an inkling when the full poster is announced. Although tbf Florence was an outright headliner when she last did NOS so it wouldn't be a surprise if that was the plan regardless.

Hellfest will reveal it's full line up on 10th November

This may be relevant to Nos Alive, because, it is public that this year Muse replaced Foo Fighters on the line up.

So it's very possible that Foo will play Hellfest this year.  And if this happen,   and Mad Cool make and announcement for the line up reveal on the same day, and Covões post the number 10, on the next days,  we will know what will happen

(this is pure speculation only)

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
