Yes. TLDP and Kasabian are two that would certainty help. Moby too. Pulp isn't a need, just nice at MC. Halsey and KOL are two big pendulum swings. I think there is more chance is me diverting back to Wechter than there is currently of dropping RIP, but don't see enough in the first package to halt a MC purchase Thursday...the cost is just too favourable. How MC split their billing however will also be a telling factor given it's a new layout etc this time. I dont think they’ll change the top line to clash but undercard i could see different.

With Lordes APE date being slap bang in the middle of Pukklepop surely that makes her playing Werchter even more likely?

Well the APE date is the 22nd and the festival is 20-22 there was nothing stopping her doing the opening date of Pukkelpop. However, Frequency is also that weekend which she is doing so it all but guarantees her Mumford sub slot is there as they cover the same Thursday to Saturday and she won't be doing 3 days in a row.

Unless she’s doing Frequency, going back to the UK and then heading back to Belgium For the last day… well it’s unlikely

Thankfully there’s other stages, couldn’t think of anything worse than liking all the main stage acts

Indeed. Gotta mix it up. I'll just abiut give them Dead Sea but I could easily miss it too. For Mumford its Little Lion Man, Hopeless Wanderer, The Cave and I will wait, not sure it's worth the whole set though for that.

It was on Facebook, then got deleted (I've just been to check again). I would say that rules them out of Lytham (proximity, an hour from Manchester) which makes me think they've been rebooked for Werchter.

I think its more likely to mean they aren't doing either as I believe they are leaving space been touring. Out of both, I'd say Manchester being just one arena makes more sense on the Friday. So Ireland Monday and Wednesday. Manchester Saturday which would make it odd to go to Belgium to come back and Lorde we are pretty sure is playing Thursday. Sunday again is unlikely with back to back dates. If Manchester was Friday or Sunday I'd say yeah

I wouldn't be surprised with The Offspring and TWOD being Friday and Sunday currently.

Sounds like somebody jumped the gun with the upload but it might well be dug back up down the line then. Guess we'll just have to keep an eye out for it.

It has also been reiterated on festileaks that KOL aren't totally gone but they aren't on the winner really.

 

@charlierc Reason I can see them doing Lytham maybe friday is because the distance to Manchester is minimal, 1hr 15 and i reckon a solo Manchester date could still sell out quick and be fine. The difference will be if they have another date penned in just in case.

Tbf their touring route makes Sunday subbing The Cure quite easy but whether it happens is another thing.  Don’t really care either way, seen them before so not really too fussed.

From memory the presale/ on sale dates were all November so I imagine it would be within the next week or possibly it was scheduled for this time next week.

Possibly. It could be one to keep an eye out for if nothing else as one suspects Manchester isn't alone on this one. Although with that being said, the Limerick gig is already on sale so I think that's a separate announcement.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're just going to be doing UK arena dates if it's the case they have booked Manchester. Maybe a pair of London O2 nights. Although I wonder if there could well be a degree of repetition given they did a lot of these similar kind of shows in 2024.

Well the rumour they'd be touring in 2026 beyond the announced Indian festival is true. But keeps it open as to what length of touring they might be doing.

 

Would assume this means Muse are doing US shows in June/July rather than popping to any Euro dates. Maybe. But yeah, no Werchter for them. No BST Hyde Park either I assume.

No kings of Leon + no Florence + no Pulp is sad for me , I can’t say I’m interested in Lorde or TWOD but let’s see what else they got
