2000 Trees 2026

Recommended Posts

I think Trees are really going to have to put something great on for me to not ditch the tickets. Already, have the double Metallica the week before and if I can get SOAD, it will make me fully commit to trying to get MCR resale.

Come on MRC do the Sunday and bankrupt me and run my body in to the ground 😊It would be a hell of a run of gigs.

I love trees but I’ve chosen MCR Black Parade over it. With Metallica & SOAD also touring next year that makes it more difficult. You’d think with these big tour announcements that festivals have to start announcing soon. Trees isn’t too far from me so might end up doing Wed-Fri or one of the days if the lineup suits.

This is kinda my thinking as well if I ditch the weekend ticket.  It's only a 30 mins drive so I can easily go for an evening (primarily if it's amyl)

Appreciate RITUALS wasn't for everyone as it was a bit of a different shift in sound for them, but with The Present is a Foreign Land and their new one, soon to be released, they've gone back to their more alt. rock style, have you listened to their newer stuff? I love them, think they're great guys.

I have, it's not for me. Glad to hear you're still enjoying their output though.

James semi-hinting on this weeks 2P1P that he's trying to get The Dirty Nil back to Upcote Farm next year.

Did he? I've just finished it and must have missed that. I'm surprised it's been so long since last time.

I think I know one of the headliners for this. Said band are definitely playing another UK festival and are also playing a second UK fest and by process of elimination, Trees seems to make sense as being the second festival.

Any more clues than this?

Outbreak or Download are the likely other festival right?

Turnstile doing Manchester Outbreak and Trees? I'm guessing this was the band you said in the Download Forum that was being predicted that aren't playing?

They turned it down before when being told they could curate their own day so I don't see them ever doing as they clearly think they're capable of bigger

Mad, I didn't know that - pompous pricks.

Someone from the Tuska lineup in Finland?

    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
    • Thanks for the suggestion, had never heard of them yesterday and have picked up a ticket today.
