Other than Prodigy I am keeping open minded on what I'll go to this year after having a few must sees last yr. But on the Fri night I am currently thinking either Four Tet or Billy Bragg (a measure of my eclectic music taste). Ash an each way possibility😃.

Based on previous years' polls, are these kind of polls vaguely representative of what it ends up being like on the day? Or does efestivals not represent the majority at all. Cos obviously there's gonna be a real issue if Ash do end up with 40,000 people!

This forum definitely skews older than the festival crowd itself.

Its this one.  Ash can't sell out 700 pac capacity nightclubs.

Not at all, this site has a clear older demographic however that doesn't mean there's not useful info. Ash looks like an outlier however with the size of the venue and the current headliner competition it could easily be rammed early.

Bit surprised at Anohni and the Johnsons being low here, indicates the Park will have space.

The Friday headliners seem to have a lot of people not knowing where to go, it's a strange list really. Will probably go to Maribou State now however that's not with any enthusiasm really, willing to be diverted on the night and sometimes that's the best way to proceed.

Recon the crowd for Self Esteem will be big - and I recon A a T J may get a large crowd as undecided people hang around -

Im still surprised that she was not the headliner

Based on the demographic of the users on here explained above, I'd be interested to know if the below clashfinder linked below is likely to be updated by people who use this forum and if that would influence any of the predictions made? (i know the indicator is on the low setting so not reliable)

If it is really true about Ash not selling out small venues then is it possible The Fratellis would headline if they are currently on tour in bigger venues?

That’s right, but the other person asked for it so https://clashfinder.com/s/g2025 is the one that will be locked down and populated using the release.

There’s an indicator on the page as to how useful it is.

I think Ash being the most popular on this list says a lot about the rest of the options.

The 1975 and Loyle Carner being the 2 main headliners is pretty terrible really.

Yeah, it's definitely relative. Think that they very much fall into the category of the type of band that's not many peoples favourite act, or high on the wishlist, but that for a lot of people will become a decent plan B for when nothing else takes the fancy.

To be fair to them they nailed it in a similar sized tent at Bearded Theory a week ago. Probably the first time I'd seen them in 20+ years and far better than I remembered them being.

Yeah unless someone’s already heard otherwise, I reckon Fratellis will be headlining - they’re headlining Academies on this tour which Ash haven’t done in a long time as far as I know.

Agree re 1975 and Carner, but Ash! really! there’s likely dozens of better options at that time

Love Ash! Been to lots of their gigs back in the day, and planning to catch them at Glastonbury for sure. Would actually prefer them not to headline as also want to see Maribou State / The 1975 (appreciate latter is not a popular opinion on here), though would choose Ash over either of them if there’s a clash. It’ll be the first thing I check when lineup drops, after seeing if Pulp is anywhere 👀

One thing this poll does show is how shocking the Friday headliner lineup is this year! South east corner is gonna be rammed from early doors me thinks

I'm not sure any of the Friday headliners will be especially quiet. None are going to shut down their stages, but none are going to be playing to one man and a dog either

The Fratellis have always been absolute sh*t and their one big song is the worst song in the world. No idea how Ash are that low on that list.
