I saw her perform at the last Leopolloza (sp) festival in Cornwall a couple of years ago. Was mildly disappointed TBH, was expecting a sort of Grimes type thing, but she’s nowhere near as good.

Having said that she would fit Glastonbury no problem, mid afternoon/early evening Park or WH

Anyone know about this singer,, she's Norwegian and seems VERY popular

Not sure if she's Glastonbury hut definitely like to see her.

my daughter was a big fan and I went with her to see her in concert about 5 years ago...and not really my cup of tea, bit too fairydust and out there, but the crowd adored her, and she's definitely got something.

one of her songs is played at the end of Adolescence if you've seen that.

and it’s my favourite of her songs. A suitable end to a devastating watch.

Saw Aurora play in Melbourne last month. She was stunning, as always. Almost magical at moments.

She’s terrific. Done Glastonbury three times, twice on the JP and last year on the park. One of my favourites from last year. Her songs. Especially from her first album are haunting and unique. Very underrated artist

I managed to completely miss anything about her until she played The Park stage in 2024, but her Royal Albert Hall gig in October was my gig of the year for last year. Her interviews are always fun to watch too 😄

Like the interview  she did with the bbc last year at Glastonbury!

I also saw this & really enjoyed it, rained most of the weekend & a lot had gone home by the time of her set!

As others have said, she was excellent on The Park last year. Some brilliant songs (Runaway, Conflict of the Mind and Running with the Wolves are my favourites - don’t judge her on that Frozen song 😂).  She comes across as very likeable as well and she seemed genuinely quite overwhelmed to be performing to a big crowd.  I enjoyed how different it was from most of the other acts I saw last year. I doubt she’ll be back again this year so soon after her last performance.

Did you manage to get into the backstage/VIP bar. I did four DJ sets there that year.

Stumbled across her in John Peel in 2019, thought she was magnificent. Went to see her at Usher Hall in Edinburgh last year, she’s definitely very good. Usher Hall was sold out, so think her star is on the rise.

Yes, seen all her three glastonbury appearances and three times in Glasgow, the first of them in the Glasgow art school back in 2016. Well thought of by other artists including Billie Eilish. Her Norwegian contemporary, Sigrid, took a more pop route into music and that’s why she’s probably had more commercial success.

Aurora has been on the rise for years.

Has 6m YouTube subs. 14m+ monthly Spotify listeners.

She's played the RAH, and Glastonbury a few times. She's performed at the Oscars.

And she's about the play Wembley Arena...!

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
