He's not at Woodsies level, is he?

Let's hope not! The Park sound for Orbital last year was spectacular. As it was when FloPo played live with a band a few years ago. I would LOVE it if he headlined The Park. That would be a-maz-ing.

Future Islands are subbing The Maccabees on Park.

Overmono Woodsies.

That makes sense if they sub. Was thinking making Girl in Red clash with Wolf Alice (again) and the first bit of Olivia Rodrigo seemed wrong. Overmono fits better as a Woodsies sub.

Wouldn’t it just!

Looking at the line up I don’t think that’ll be where he ends up though, seems like there’s too many bigger fish to squeeze in.

Hope I’m wrong!

I don't think Park finishes later on Sundays.

Park ends early on Sunday. So it would be feasible to catch a Park headliner, leave a little early and go to Other and watch the end of that. One of the rare times you can split without too much hassle.

Are Overmono really only Woodsies sub level? The kids love them. Sold out a WHP night easily last year.

Yeah it's a tricky one. I've hear nothing on the actual placement.

I'm just guessing a sub really, could be way off though.

I would say WH sub suits them (would have said Park headliner but that’s not happening).

They’re not as big as Jamie XX and probably a similar level to Romy.

So on that basic maths, I arrived at WH sub!

I was told Woodsies the other day, just no exact placement.

I think they are in Manchester, but only because Jamie won't put on a full show here (I'm not bitter, honest guv).

Thought they might get Jamie's slot from last year, but I like WH sub for them. Good maths! Shame mufc knows otherwise. Might be busy depending what else they're up against.

I will just caveat by saying Overmono - Woodsies was put across a bit.. blasé, in the midst of a smattering of Glastonbury alcohol fuelled info.

It should be right, but I wouldn't hang my hat on it like the Future Islands/Macaabees stuff - which is nailed.

Tbh - I think they'll do Woodsies anyway, so it only firmed up my opinion. With Four Tet doing that as well, I think that's the vibe they're going for this time.

I'd love Caribou to get a slot in there

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
