Urgh, we're gonna end up with Volbeat supporting GnR, aren't we? Sod that

I think the info on GnR is rubbish considering it came in with the same info that they’re headlining Nova Rock. I think our 3rd will be BMTH now. Outside chance of Ghost if they announce a festival tour & possible we get a NIN if they annnounce Primavera this week but I’d have expected Ghost to pop up somewhere now. Of course my mind will change if we get some new acts in the RIP/RAR announcement.

BMTH would have to play the Friday ideally then at that rate?

I don't see how there won't be an outright shared headliners, doesn't mean Volbeat won't play too but they are one that aren't as big here as Austria and Germany. It's worth pointing out though when Nova last had Volbeat they played 3rd with no extra headliner involved.

I'm not so sure due to the above. They've got a mix of headliners Nova have whereby one would 6 years playing in the UK, one headlines there but not here, one we know isn't headlining and the other is doing IOW and Download likely wouldn't allow not book.

It could of course be LB, BMTH, LP

That would make for a very strong undercard for me. Buzzing to see Bad Omens and The Plot In You next months really hope we get them at DL. Think this also gives a chance for All Time Low to be main sub if we did get a Pop Punk Day with Blink.

Updated prediction based on Nova

Limp Bizkit, Yungblud, All Time Low, Bilmuri

Volbeat

BMTH, Architects, Papa Roach, The Pretty Reckless

A Perfect Circle

Linkin Park, Bad Omens, Ice Nine Kills, Kublai Khan TX

Trivium

I don’t see BMTH and Architects on same day, is a repeat of 2023. I reckon Architects hold off on Download and look to headline Trees or Slam Dunk maybe.

Stranger things have happened. Kam was promoter for their tour so could see it happening. Could even put Architects below Limp Bizkit & have Yungblud under BMTH.

Saying that they could defo do trees as they’ve been after them before but they feel a bit too big for it.

I just can't see BMTH playing again so soon with their same stage production. But then on the other hand, in true DL fasion I wouldn't be surprised.

I don’t think it will be BMTH for this reason. Played UK for 4 years straight. But I’d rather see BMTH again than GnR.

Stick Architects under Linkin Park I’m pretty sure they subbed for them on the tour did they not?

Side note I don’t think we’ll get Motionless In White or at least not until the second wave announcement next year. As if they get announced it’ll affect their ticket sales for the tour. Unless they simply aren’t doing Europe festival run next year.

Architects won’t do Trees. They turned it down when they were offered to curate their own day. They feel they’re too big for it (and probably are tbh). I could see them subbing at DL again.

Mad that. I’d say Trees is similar size to Bloodstock no? I’d rather headline a medium size festival then main sub DL but oh well probs comes down to money.

Bloodstock is bigger than Trees.

Not 100% sure but it’s something like approx.12- 15000 capacity at Trees and 20-25000 Bloodstock
