Parkway haven’t sold out one arena on this upcoming tour. They’ve got the show to headline but there’s other bands ahead of them in the pecking order now.

I can’t see them subbing again, I can see them holding out to hopefully headline the next time they have a new album out to promote.

Co-headlining is pointless at DL.

Didn’t know that about the YB / LB connection.

I can see them putting him below GNR, though, as they seem to be pushing him lately as some sort of ‘new face of rock’.

Yeah both would work to be fair. Can see more of an oldie if it is in fact GnR, maybe even Volbeat.

Surprised Parkway are doing arenas tbh

I can’t believe they’ve come to do them without having an any new music to tour. It’s being billed as a 20th anniversary tour but it’s essentially the same setlist they’ve been doing for ages with a little medley of old stuff thrown in. The supports aren’t selling any tickets either. Who cares about Thy Art Is Murder and The Amity Affliction in 2025?

The medley really annoys me as Romance is dead is my favourite song of theirs

They need play more from deep blue as well Deliver Me should be a staple on their setlists

Deep Blue is so neglected. Nice to see Dark Days from Atlas back in their set, though. That’s another one that should always be played.

I also think that Papa Roach will sub Limp Bizkit. There was some talking that they are absent from Download for so long because they demanded a higher slot that they were given. Well, now they're surfing the nu metal nostalgia, played good spots at the August festivals (even headlined Wacken), and fits perfectly under Bizkit. Stick another parte-y band 3rd down on that day and it will be a lovely time.

That would be incredible

I'd say Electric Callboy third down but I'd prefer if they headlined opus for a longer set

I just didn't know they were that big. Hadn't seen or heard from them in over a decade I don't think. But then again they weren't a band I looked out for. I guess they just have a big fanbase.

I'm waiting for tomorrow's several announcements to make proper festival math, but now I'm thinking of a run like that on the Friday

Limp Bizkit / Papa Roach / Electric Callboy / Babymetal / Kublai Khan TX / LANDMVRKS / thrown

Papa Roach for a bit of a party > A Perfect Circle to bask in and recharge > Bizkit for the party to end all parties.

Get Guilt trip on before them

Perfect

Hell yeah. Guilt Trip should open the Main Stage one day like Static Dress did this year. They put on a great set to a good crowd considering how early it was.

Outrageously good, I need a proper Callboy set after the sound issues at slam dunk.

all i want is a good second stage and or other stages on the day GNR play to compensate for the certain man trying to hit the same high notes he did when he was half his age

Agreed. If the second stage is the same genre or age group of bands to appeal to people over 50 then I’ll stay in my tent and get pissed then head to dogtooth 🤣

Just had a thought, I know someone mentioned that Parkway would be around next year

I know they are a borderline headliner but their arena tour hasn't sold too well. You can have them sub LB which would be a strong sub for a 'weak-ish' headliner

You could even have them co-headline with LB which would sort the lack of material concerns with LB but Download would never do that lol

Love Parkway but their ticket sales don’t support headlining sadly. Would love them to be main sub but don’t see it.
