Gonna update this shortly - anyone notice anything that needs to be added -  I have Halsey now ruled out, new shows for Biffy & Pulp and potential info for Prodigy - also Noah Karan is not on here fro some point.

 

aslo Chems only doing DJ sets this year it seems. 

 

Probably shift Elbow and Sterophonics out of the top category and into the also mentioned bit below.

I do wonder if Biffy Clyro fit. Think they'd be a great Other headliner, but also don't think they'd draw massively away from any of the assumed three headliners.

I'm curious by the Loyle Carner Other headline talk and would've thought Biffy made more sense in that slot. Much as I'm aware he's been seen as a lock for that spot.

 

Maybe Biffy as a sub to Neil Young? To be truly renegade and/or if Pulp are gonna either be a secret set or not around. Or indeed another suggestion I saw of Biffy doing a Woodsies secret set.

Pretty sure if I remember Disclosure randomly self confirmed around this time last year - and they were on no ones list to appear so be prepared for one of them to be a name not on this list

It's not filling 90 that's the issue, I always saw them as a sub. They never did sit with me as an other stage headliner when I look at others that have, I think they have a bigger pull at a festival like Glastonbury

Don't think so. Aware that there is an element of fandom discounted at Glastonbury - see; SZA selling out Hyde Park and drawing probably about 30,000 - if that - for the Pyramid set a night later.

 

But feel The 1975's multiple sell-out arena runs and a surprisingly large cross-generational demographic pool there mean they'll pull alright. That's not to say Biffy Clyro wouldn't either - massive fan of them too, and would have a genuine headache if against each other.

Assuming you're not talking about an act I've never heard about before called Potential Tool 😃 I find that hard to believe as they are notorious money grabbers.

 

I'd be all up for it though. Tool - Neil Young - The Prodigy is a cracking set of headliners for me.

The chance of Tool taking a second-stage headline spot at Glastonbury - even a second stage as rarefied as the Other - is about as likely as me becoming Pope next month.

 

Probably likely than Emila Perez winning the Best Picture gong at the Oscars though.

Accessible to those with a particular level of engagement yes (it's quite a low bar in all honesty). Was an unfortunate measure we had to take to stop the list being constantly screenshotted and ending up elsewhere, which was upsetting long standing sources of info. Ultimately system seems to have worked well as it encouraged lots of new people to post and engage with the community, plus the info kept flowing, with some people saying the fact it was now more private it encouraged them to share in greater confidence!

 

Woudl imagine whole thing will be made public again once poster drops (soon?!), and then going forward we'll maybe look at a system in later years where some stuff is public and some is private

Nice one. I only asked as you pointed a member to it, but they wouldn't be able to see it initially, which is why it's hard for new members to your server to differentiate between what is a joke and what is serious (and backed up on your lineup page.) 👍

This, but swap Biffy Clyro and Chappell Roan out. Pulp to the Friday, Noah Kahan on the Saturday and Duran Duran on the Sunday.
