So any hopes for the remaining acts?

My wishlist include Nine Inch Nails, Last Dinner Party, Neil Young and Muse (not totally realistic I know).

i think Muse are out

I still don't close the doors to Neil Young (From all the names that may still come, i still believe it is the only one that will sell out the festival)

The Last Dinner Party, maybe

I think you’d be surprised how few acts are left to announce.  With them dropping a day I think there’s a lot less than people expect

Yeah Muse might be out. But TLDP are the biggest chance I think. They're subbing Olivia Rodrigo on other festivals this summer and are in France right before MC.

But Young would please me the most I think.

It would be very on-brand for Mad Cool to have leaked yet another tour before it was ready to be announced hahah!

(Although I suppose they can be forgiven as it was meant to come out last week and this could be an ad which was not nipped in the bud in time)

What was it, The Strokes last time?

I still think Muse would've been announced in their first wave if they had them.

Makes me wonder what else they're doing, mind. Five dates, 3 of which are in Scandinavia, is quite a skinny tour given they were allegedly meant to have hoovered up a few spots vacated by Foo Fighters after they opted not to tour in 2025.

True, Muse should be a band that MC were likely to announce first. But it also feels weird to just tour Scandinavia and 2 other countries.

teasing linkin park in the comments. wanted to take a screenshot, but thought neither spanish nor the german translation will help anyone here

They did also tease Linkin in the comments back on december, let's see what happens tomorrow.

Is it not a poor translation? I’m sure that they said to someone in the first announcement that they might be “at a future Mad Cool as it didn’t work this time” or something to that effect

Are we expecting only NIN tomorrow or a group of names?

The way it says “announcement” makes me think it’s just NIN but it would be nice if they do day splits too

    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
