I guess how many Glasto acts could be added: if i could choose four i,d take The National, London Grammar, Orbital and Disclosure, it would be a great closing of lineup

New Order would be a nice addition to me and seems to be available of Kalorama dates. Also The National, that would be a big name to sell tickets I think they will not disappoint usand will bring good acts to end the lineup

Any rumours about new additions to this Festival? They usually surprise fans with awesome late additions like Nick Cave in 2022 or Blur in 2023 Think at least 2 more big names are missed in an already nice lineup I hope they bring something like PULP, WEEZER or MY MORNING JACKET to fill spots, but we,ll have to wait a pair months more to find out.

I wouldn't, expect big announcements Thursday, no Foo Fighters and of course no ACDC or GUNS There were 3 big slots to fill and another 6-8 in undercard, my feeling is Maneskhin/ Lenny Kravitz will come, one of both or, sadly, both My hopes are in undercard positions, I expect 2-3 additions of my taste like Cage the Elephant, Weezer, Beach House, Limp Bizkit... but I'm afraid we will settle for Snow Patrol. AsI said, I,m not very optimistic about last healiner. in fact I prefer they got 3/4/5 strong undercard acts , to enjoy them in relative confort that one ultragreat headliner who will be very tough to enjoy ( like Last year RHCP) To me it,s still a enygma why they did not confirm FOO FIGHTER last week if they are pretending to got them MC is prone to mind games, so they got what they wanted, people wondering...

Bought 4day ticket but I Hope they update the so/so lineup with a great headliner (Foo, Tool) and 3/4 undercard acts (Turnstile, London Grammar, Limp Bizkit, Beach House… But I , m not very optimistic out of inminent precedents, although the festival CEO declared that they have almost signed a strong headliner who will skyrocket budget at 22/23 million€…

Not shocking News!! Jajaja But I already have my doubt with Billie, not my cup of tea but a great scoop for any Festival. Very expensive otherwise. If you put Smashing Pumpkins, LCD Soundsystem and Weezer plus another pop singer like Sheeran or Lavigne) at second level, we,re starting to talk… Front my point of view, undercard is the Key to Happiness in this Festival, and in this venue !!! Unless the y manage to distribute Spaces and Masses.

Beauregard Howewer, if Primavera announces 21/11, I guess MC will announce first week of December, matching PJ tease of their Europe tour, I think if MC reunites FF, PJ & DL, it will be no money for a 4th act at that level...in fact I do not see Billie as fourth headliner.

Following NOS logic, there is a possible headline as: FOO FIGHTERS (strong tidbit) DUA LIPA (nos confirmed) SMASHING PUMPKINS (nos confirmed) PEARL JAM (low tidbit) Question is what is going to happen with past editions no-shows like BILLIE EILISH, FAITH NO MORE, CAGE THE ELEPHANT or RATM (sunset)? And the great 2 questions in this festival: - The logistic fails of last year,s third day will be solved? ( more space/less people, baths in other points, better communication between stages, etc etc) at second attempt in Villaverde - Wiil be the undercard AS good AS usual (last year I remember DEUS, SIGUR ROS, PRIMAL SCREAM, OFFSPRING, FRANZ FERDINAND, SPOON, PUSCIFER, CITY AND COLOUR, THE 1975, MAXIMO PARK...) I ever thought the main asset of this festival,s lineup was the undercard, that is amix of accesibility and quality, avoiding the dangerous masses of prime acts (RHCP last year was disgusting) Awaiting...

Last year was near perfect organization, public transport included, bars ran smoothly, t's a pity it was last year at Valdebebas, It's true that in 2018 was awful at first day, but from then, the Festival has improved. Heat in Madrid was benevolent all years, we were lucky, last year one week later it was a heat wave (all Europe) with 40+, but during festival temperature was from 28-35 , perfectly normal in Madrid summer Sound was one of the assets of this Festival during Ifema Valdebebas period, especially stage 3 And ratio price/ acts is unbeatable. So, a good to great Festival, right now, I'll say

I do not expect someone spectacular, MUMFORD & STORMZY is the most probable filling formula for the 2 cover slots remaining, not bad but not my taste. More intriguing is the undercard filling, that is historically strong at MC, all my hopes go for that, 2-3 names who will let us enjoy along FF, 1975 and Sigur... will see

I, d bet 100 pounds MUMFORD & SONS will be the main header friday, it fits MC politics of recovering announced acts that could not play, and M&S were in the 2021 cover, along FNM, if I,m not mistaken Not so much impressed, by the way Let,s wait for the remaining header slot saturday and at least 5 main undercard acts that left to fill, but not so many hopes of brilliance...

Well, a disappointment "hell clue" was Rina instead of G&R. Lineup is great, but not of my very taste, Sigur Ros, Liam and Rufus were great surprises I hope that 2 headliners left are more guitar/ indie oriented ( I'm afraid the great one will be Billie) and wait for new confirmations in the second line a la Sigur Ros I think with BILLIE and WEEZER and a couple of new good acts at undercard this will be a genuine Mad Cool lineup, in its line of excellence. Definitely I will buy 3 day ticket, prices are reasonable, even cheap

So there is only one enigma for tomorrow , the EIGHT and NINTH headliners, all the seven remaining were disclosed via clues.( RCHP, G&R, QUOTSA, TBK, T1975, LIZZO, SAM SMITH) Wait a big name and a low key name ( BIllie and The Prodigy?) Will see...

I think there is no so much room for surprises, only via clues or NOS confirmation, if is not the same, we'll have something like: 1ST HEADLINERS. GUNS & ROSES/ RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS/ BILLIE EILISH 2ND. LIZZO/ THE BLACK KEYS/ QUEENS OF STONE AGE 3RD. THE 1975/ SAM SMITH/ UNKNOWN (arcade, robbie, lana, bjork, pulp, blur, rosalía, the prodigy...) It's a potent lineup, attractive to general public, with crystal clear sold-out potential, but I'll wait to undercard gems, a must in recent MC editions, to give my kudos I'd like to see 2-3 solid bands like Beach House, Weezer, Belle & Sebastian, Sigur Ros, LCD, Wilco, Manic Street Preachers, Kasabian, Cage the Elephant, etc in that undercard zone and 2-3 first rate electronic shows...let,s see Monday.

Next week is almost free in Spain with 2 free days and so much people will be traveling So first announcement must be this week, I suppose Friday, as traditional, no clues yesterday is a sign of imminent announcement, PS lesser impact than predicted (only Blur hurts MC) could calm things, but I think a great part of lineup is filled with NOS advances (Lizzo, BK, Idles) clues ( QUOTSA, 1975, Tash S. Lana? Green Day? Tool?) and the so called confirmations ( RHCP, Billie) Remains the darkhorses to be cleared ( Bjork, RATM, etc) and at less one hit unexpected I guess (let's say ACDC, Weekend, etc ec) Only guesses, no news, tidbits or inside trading
