And the days have sort of fallen with a great spread of acts I want to see on each day. Might actually have to see if I can find a reasonable hotel now...

Also apologies for the spam, but are we assuming NIN have just printed the wrong date on their poster? Surely doing Madrid and then Lisbon back to back is plausible

Yes it seems so. I just find it strange since they are subbing KOL at Nos alive.

Is Saturday going to be a shorter day than others?  There seems to be less acts that day than the others.

I think they still have some acts to announce. The Last Dinner Party could potentially be subbing on Saturday for example.

Subbing? Subbing what? The top line is clearly filled up and will be split up on the two main stages taking the top spots

Ok playing further down then😉 TLDP are subbing Olivia in some other festivals this summer.

Anyway, only 16 acts announced for Saturday so clearly more names will be added.

Thursday easily the best day for me with KOL, Iggy Pop, Weezer, Refused. The Wombats and Hannah Wants would probably get a look in. 

 

Olivia, 30 STM maybe and Bloc Party is good for me.

 

Alanis is all I have on Friday myself.

We have emailed MC and live nation a couple of weeks ago, but they did not answer our question. Do you think that GLS will deliver wristbands in the same way as correos express did before? Shall we receive a tracking number for the order?

I actually like the line up on all the days. Especially keen on seeing Weezer, Bright Eyes, Refused, NIN, Alanis and Olivia. So I think it will be a nice edition all in all.

Finally bought tickets for this event. All in all I find the line up to be one of the better ones this summer.

Sol area is still fairly busy at the finish time of the festival with it being the city centre and a lot of people from the festival get off there, we walked from Sol to Gran Via each night and it felt completely safe.

I've been around that area a couple of times late at night, no troubles at all. Madrid felt like one of the safest places I've been to generally.

Another festival taking place at Iberdrola Music. Luckily "los vecinos" (residents of the area) seems to have accepted the presence of such big festivals in their neighborhood
