Hello, friends. 👋 It's good to be back, won't be long before we get back on track.

If someone knows an admin lmk, I want to update my username. 😇

Hello!

Can you share some insights? Like how do you guys rate this year’s edition? Did it exceeded/meet/failed to meet your expectations? Can you tell us some details about the changes that are coming?  Will it affect the size of the acts your are trying to book?

ps.: hello friends is an indoor playground in King’s Lynn. Kings of Leon confirmed!

the sales were way below expectations

Pretty much this. Had a lot more potential initially in terms of the line-up.

I'd say it rather affects the number of acts Sziget will be booking. Things will get more balanced, with a bigger focus on "smaller" acts. Major changes coming in terms of the look and feel of the festival. Expect many updates and new approaches to various stages.

And when will you guys announce this "major changes" ?

Isn't it a bit risky to sell tickets to the 'usual sziget fans', before telling them "oh, by the way, we completely change the Island next year" ? 🙂

Fewer stages then?

No more Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighter bookings?

I love smaller acts...but did we had not enough of them this year?

You said earlier that this year will be different, including maybe "smaller" acts.

Since 2024 didn't succeed as much as expected, how come they think they'll bring more people with a "smaller" line up ?

looks loke the nights thing they posting about.

Early Bird Passes with Szitizen Kit are coming on October 28 8 pm CET.

Just confirmed. Anyone seen a list of what's included in the Sziget kit this year? Seems weird not to tell us - unless that's planned to be announced nearer to the 28th.

Mainly, but all the major stages are getting upgrades as well. More details will be unveiled after the first announcement in early November. Also, think of "smaller acts" as in the cancelled 2020 undercard.

So we'll still get headliners of a decent size?

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
