Anyone know if the worthy farm mature reserve cheddar gets you an entry in the coop competition? Can't find a straight answer anywhere

This is annoying me. I'm a long time efests lurker (sorry) but ticketless this year having been 8 times so trying everything.

There is Reserve Cheddar and Mature Reserve Cheddar in different packaging but I'm starting to wonder if it's just been re branded and it's the same cheese. The official website about their cheese only highlights the mature cheddar now but the co-op website doesn't even mention the mature one. The co-op by me only sold the mature cheddar and had a sign up about winning tickets. But the T&C's don't mention mature reserve cheddar.

its always been the top one .... they used to have peel back stickers that contained a code which was entered online , sadly that got abused and some of the codes used , so they moved over to use of the membership cards . ive never seen that the bottom one is valid before

It's not clear tbh.  None of the packaging now references the ticket competition on either brand, and my Co-Op has the advertising for the competition across both of them on the self.  And if @runningbear's local only sells the mature but still advertises the competition then you'd have to think it applies to both?

Yeah it's definitely not clear. As I say if you click on the worthy farm cheese website it has the green pack as if they don't even sell the gold one anymore, then click to find stockist it takes you to co-op and shows you the gold pack. It's to all intents the same product, same description of the product, both 6 months matured. I wonder if it has the same barcode?

Unfortunately I can't get the top gold one anymore anywhere I've been to compare.  You don't get any verification you've entered the comp either, no code, just scan your co op card.

This issue is however stopping me dumping £20-£30 on cheese right now before the 16th 😂

Yeah I think it's re branded and it's the same cheese. I've bought the top one before and the bottom one this time 🤞.

Thinking about it I did visit a store and remember the two types of packaging, both in the same place, same tag on shelf, I ended up with the newer design but It looked like the same product and at the time I didn't question it other than if the older one counted 😅.

Other stores I've been to since have only had the newer packaging and only one type of the cheese 👍

Also the pyramid stage is on the packaging.....buy the cheese I reckon!

Incidentally. If you go into your co-op app and click discover and scroll down. They have a new non cheese related competition running. It's just a prize draw you enter. Closes 28 April

I ordered the co op cheese and they charged me for it without sending it!

if its an online delivery they should just refund , youll have a certain threshold where it should be done without issue . if you are a regular refunder and hit a certain amount questions might be asked but doubt thats the case here ... I work in online shopping , and have also had stuff refunded as a customer . it's sometimes done in human error in the rush to get stuff done you forget the correct tray to put it in

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
    • Out of interest keep seeing messages saying last 12 hours etc… to buy you full weekend tickets.  Whats that about? Do they take them off sale early?
