ACDC are rumored to announce a tour later this week. They were also named as a Glasto possibility.

Not too bad of a cohead if RW managed to snatch them

AC/DC can’t be cohead with someone

LP are last headliner, jimmywe said on festileaks forum

That’s not Jimmys info btw. I posted about it a couple of pages ago that the person who had the info mentioned Bryan Adams for Classic and Fender as headlining.  The 3rd bit was Linkin Park

Jimmy is a very good bloke though, shared some info with him

How about something like?

Linkin Park - Fontaines DC - Deftones

Green Day - Oscar and the Wolf - Weezer

Sam Fender - Jack White - Noah Kahan

Olivia Rodrigo - London Grammar - Vampire Weekend

I doubt Green Day will accept OATW before them (and they like to have a finger in the game on who's playing before them). Weezer seems likely though and that would be great. London Grammar was tipped by @Ken19 to headline The Barn, so probably not (unless RW needs to downgrade their bookings even further). I'm guessing Girl In Red will have some kind of spot on Main Stage on the Olivia-day. Probably 3rd/4th down.

Not ruling out Muse as the last headliner either, after today's announcement at Tons of Rock (which must have one of the better line-ups for rock fans this year. The best would be something not mentioned at all though...

Worst werchter lineup since it got popular.

As it'll what blackfoxx put? If it gets Glasto I'll almost definitely not be going. I have a feeling I've missed to European boat for RAR and Werchter. My werchter was this year really.

I've got LP, Weezer, Green Day, Jack White and Olivia there. The rest I wouldn't attend in the notion they are there.

3 acts and the world is over 😂.  Out of interest as you all know what’s a great lineup this year?

I don't even like attending concerts at Main Stage (except early in the day), so for me it's all about the undercards. That said, headliners is often a sign of what direction the festival is taking. Last year was the worst edition I've ever attended, and the headliners were also weak (except Foo). One could hope that weak headliners leave more money for good undercards, but that hasn't been the case so far. Slope had some good names last year, but that was about it.

You could have a great point, but werchter is always driven by headliners.

If the headliners are poor,  you go elsewhere. Which isn't the case for festivals like Glastonbury, Roskilde and Sziget.

Tbf I’ve always been someone that likes to see headliners on smaller stages too so I’ll be looking forward to seeing what’s announced.  I’m easily pleased though tbf

I've always been someone driven by festival experience, rather than lineups.

Guess you could argue so have I as I went to about 8 Glastonbury’s in a row however didn’t get a ticket last year and went to IOW instead and have never had so much fun.  Due to that we decided to not even try for tickets this year and go do something else again (Werchter).

There’ll always be enough as I’m happy listening to this that and whatever.

Enjoy whatever you decide to do

Yeah did every glasto from early 90s to 2008, then hit the European festivals scene.

Think we can both agree, the glory years of werchter having double headliners has long gone.

I’ve been saying it for a while mate that I think due to costs and big headline bands doing their own thing there’s just a lack of what we expected genuine big headliners to be. I think all festivals have struggled IOW massively downsizing, Glastonbury and Coachella too not getting the names you’d necessarily expect.

The funny thing is I’m not really that bothered as I’ve pretty much seen everyone I want to now so getting away with my mates is the most important thing.  (That being said, getting those few bands you love on a lineup is always amazing)

That’s the biggest problem on forum I think. Many users saw almost all bands they wanted so now they need to complain all the time, me too sometimes 😀

I’m waiting for Hellfest lineup and if they have NIN on poster, that’s it for me, last two “must see” in my life. Plus RATM but they are dead…

Yeah basically you've seen all the bands you want but the festivals aren't thinking of we won't book these again because they've seen them. Then you've got the crowd of I didn't want them the first time lol.

Looking at the download lineup, and I don't know how much cross over there normally is but I wouldn't mind seeing Jimmy Eat World, Sex Pistols, Bullet for my Valentine at RW.

If Werchter landed all those 3 then it's I the conversation instead as Download is not worth attending currently more than 1 day.

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
