Thanks to all for the journey on efests over the past year , we've had peaks and troughs but we've made it . 3 days until gates open and nice one to all those that have stuck it out , many friends gained over the year and amazing info as ever . The farm  looks amazing so thanks all the workers getting things ready for our arrival and for those that keep us safe during it . Hopefully will see as many of you as possible during the meet and over the course of the5 days (please dont be shy ) Safe journeys to the farm and have an absolute blast

Long time lurker - this is my first post since creating an account in 2011, and I'm sure I was using the site for info on various Scottish festivals way before then.

All packed for Glastonbury this year. It's been a bit of a tough year so far, so massively looking forward to jumping in the car on Tuesday and setting off.

Cough cough.

That is Coquelles. In the Pas-de-Calais region probably, but technically trains leave from Coquelles (though some would argue it's actually Frethun) and ferries leave from the aptly named Port of Calais which used to exit pretty much right on the beach of the town of Calais.

Currently sitting in the Toronto Airport on my way to London.  Our 4.5 hour layover has turned into a 7 hour layover.  We were on the red eye, so barring any further delays, we fly out at 230.  Glad we have a couple days in London before taking the coach to the fest on Thursday, give us some time to get some sleep.

Uh oh....just had our major hiccup of the trip. Adapter plug that connects the caravan into the car for the indicators/brake lights came out and was dragging on the floor all the way down the a12. 🤦🏼‍♀️

All the casing was smashed but the pins were just about still in tact so it's taken a while but managed to get some tape from the service station and bodge it all up to stay in!!

Anyone able to bring us down a 7 pin adapter plug replacement for the way home?!?!

I would if I knew what one was! There is a caravan shop close by. Are you nearly there yet?

This is what we're missing, made it down at least so at we know we can bodge it with tape if we're desperate and can sort when we get home.

But the plug needs replacing:

I have one of these in the van but I am a little dubious of why i bought a new one…

Not sure where you are stopping tonight and so which direction you will be coming from..? But there used to be a caravan / motor home sales place on the A37…

if you can’t find anything local just give me a shout.. I will be heading down from Cambs early tomorrow and in East Quiet..

You're an absolutely star for checking!! Will see what we can find first thing tomorrow but we're also east quiet so may see you on the hill for an exchange if not! Will see how we get on. Thank you so much!!  Worst case scenario, we did find some more super strong tape at least 👍🏼
