Are we looking at a repeat of Wet Leg at the Park last year?

Looking at the line up so far and bearing in mind that final poster hasn't released yet, I don't see acts with enough draw to keep people away from the Other Stage.

Could it be insanely busy?

For me, Fred Again (with or without Skrillex/Four Tet) is top of a very small 'must see' list.

I'm planning Fred, then either up to Park for Manics or over to Camelphat at the Levels (some of our group will be going Pyramid for AM)

What have other people got lined up for around 8.30 on Friday night?

The Other stage is much more suitable to Cope with it, also loads will be at Royal Blood and other clashes around the site.  It’ll be busy but if the likes of Olivia Rodrigo are fine so will he be

So hard to say given nobody knows really what else is currently on at that time

it will be fine though (source: entire group is seeing fred again)

Not a single mention of the album Fred Again released on Friday?

It's alright as an ambient album, although not really much to my taste, found it quite snoozy in places.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I have seen the Arcadia lineup for this year and sadly the Fred x Four Tet x Skrillex b3b is not on there.

Also doesn’t look like there will be space for them to be added to the lineup later as there are 18 acts on the lineup when there were 16 on the 2022 Arcadia lineup

Ohh no, that sucks. Is the lineup good though regardless?

The fact you've seen it would suggest the announcement is imminent?

Yeah it’s good but not as strong as previous years for my tastes. That being said, there’s some tasty b2bs on there which will be great, along with the booking of a certain act that we were all expecting that couldn’t make it last year…

Not sure to be honest, have seen the poster though so that exists so maybe that suggests it’s imminent?

Thanks. Yeah, Chem Bros were always nailed on. Not sure I’d see a DJ set from them unless there’s nothing else on. I’ve seen them so many times

I love ambient music and the Eno Fred Again... project is absolute shite.

Would go down like a lead balloon on the Other.

I don’t think this means they aren’t playing. I still stand by the fact that they would be unable to play Arcadia as it would be dangerous, especially post-Coachella.

I have no clue where else they could play. Perhaps a TBA other stage slot?

Yeah I didn’t say they weren’t playing, just that they weren’t playing Arcadia, which was the stage most people were expecting them to play (if they were playing)

    • There’s a few in there which could go either way or I’m not bothered if I miss but think that’s now be pretty set.  Few rubbish clashes like Kasabian/Loyle plus Reytons/Pixies/CMAT but I’ll head with the lads to the most popular one.   (And yes no Byrne or Twigs, just can’t into either)
    • I saw somewhere they were advertising Lewis' day as him live on Glagow Green and only mentioned Amy Mcdonald and CMAT as support, 0 mention of the festival  I completely agree this will probably be the last one which is a shame because the first 2 seemed so promising and now its turned into middle of the road rubbish with acts you can see everywhere else  Anyone know if the BBC are covering it next week as it'll be fascinating to see how full (or empty) it is
    • Did anyone catch Viagra Boys last night? A rollicking good set, with a little more free jazz than I expected.   if you’re up early, Walabi is doing a super job in the Cupra Pulse. There till six.

    • They really dropped a bollock on their lineup this year. They went with Richard Ashcroft because he did well as Oasis support - But realistically, you're not getting 50k people in a field to hear the 4 or 5 songs they know at like £70+ a ticket. Can't get my head around the Kasabian booking, either. Finsbury Park was a bold move for them, and yes it sold out, but I think you're more likely to see people make the journey to London if they want to see them rather than Glasgow. A second similar capacity show was always going to be a big ask for them.
