They could have something like SlipKnot - Avenged Sevenfold - Parkway Drive - Pink...

One of these really stands out from the rest 😀
Slipknot / Avenged Sevenfold / Parkway Drive seems fair, the last one could be a big German band (Die Toten Hosen, Die Ärzte...).

Wonder if there might be more than one announcement this week? Would be very unconventional but they’ve just put something up saying the next price increase is coming on Friday and I-Days have announced first names for Friday, unusual they’d go for two price increases in a week otherwise

EDIT - Apologies, I read it wrong and they’re delaying the increase until Friday!

Wow, that’s pretty weak. Tenacious D is a headliner now? 😅

Got the same reaction... The only surprise on the line-up is indeed Tenacious D. But for the rest: nothing special. BilderbuchDie Ärtze, Casper and Broilers: half of the biggest names are German/Austrian bands. Great to see the festival (can) put "local" bands as headliners but not interesting for international people!

My bad, it’s confirmed from ceo Ewald Tatar that Bilderbuch are headliners. So one more missing on thursday.

Really can’t see anyone expect Metallica. Maybe Avenged Sevenfold (hope not) or Motley Crue

I don't see Mötley Crüe going there. Avenged Sevenfold is the most likely choice!

Metallica are definitely on the cusp of announcing stuff but I doubt Nova would have bothered announcing yet if they knew they had them ready to go. Also doesn't line up with the somewhat credible rumour that they're playing Download twice on that Thursday and Saturday (further bolstered by other announcements today).

It won’t be a first time. For 2020 they announced Foo Fighters, Volbeat & Seileer und Speer in phase 1 and in phase 2 last headliner which was SOAD.

But as you said, bigger problem is if the rumours are true about Metallica playing Download twice.

But hope still exist, thursday on Nova Rock and saturday on Download and everyone will be happy 🤘

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
