1975 is once again not for me but I appreciate why a lot of people fall in love with them. Don't think it's bad by any stretch.

All 3 new King Gizzard albums are good but the Mushroom one wins out. What a fucking band.

Flipping eck. Heard folks on hear discussing Kid Kapichi with regards to 2022 line up and assumed with that name it was some kind of soundcloud rapper, imagine my surprise on actually listening today 🤣🤣🤣.

the Beths - Expert in a Dying Field, Sudan Archives - Natural Brown Prom Queen, Jockstrap - I Love You Jennifer B and Skullcrusher - Quiet the Room are 4 albums ive discovered in the past few weeks, don't think any will break my top 20 but all certainly very good.

Architects might be AOTY so far for me. The last 3 songs go hard. Arctic Monkeys a close second though.

Architects is the most disappointing album of 2022 for me by some way. I really, really dislike it. It’s so bland and repetitive.

Unfortunately agree, give or take one or two songs it is so much worse than For Those Who Wish to Exist which was in my top 3 last year

It’s definitely bland compared to Holy Hell which IMO is their best work but for some unbeknown reason I keep going back to it. Probably because I just lap up absolutely anything a band ever releases if I like them 😁

Same here, despite it not being as good as previous albums, I keep listening to it so it seems I like it better than I’m telling myself haha.
