Because we're crazy people and it translates to more money. You can sell seats at a higher premium than standing being at a relatively flat price. If i can sell the first 10 rows at £1000 each, then just reduce that price a £100 every 10 rows and sell them no matter what, why not do it. Never know, it could be half and half. The front is seated and the back is standing. Hardly any stadium tours in the u.s are standing. Coldplay, Metallica and Ed Sheeran are the ones currently doing it which is a rarity in itself in one year. Beyonce is all seated except for the club rennassaince section. Pink is seated, all the K Pop stadium tours.

with the likely influx of americans coming for these gigs its going to be even crazier when they see its all standing cause of the queuing which will indeed happen.

Like all the Americans that came to the Blackpink show and jumped the fences.

Not convinced this is legit. Paying full whack to sit directly behind the stage would be something.

I can't see them having seats behind the stage. They haven't anywhere else in the world for this tour but here's the link: https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/taylor-swift-the-eras-tour-london-22-06-2024/event/23005ED4F2DD0A47 and it says it is.

And here's Liverpool, no crowd behind the stage. Image

The Liverpool one looks slightly more realistic but doesn’t have a golden circle

Think the reality is they’re still working on them.

People on that twitter page are already making plans of how to sleep over night to get a good spot. Seating it is.

Of course theyre going to have seating borderline behind the stage. How else do they get more people inside. Theyll give em a screen to look at and all the swifties wont care. This will be the view. Its just stadium design dependant

From the view point of that, that's to the side of the stage. The same as Liverpool is showing. L1/L2 for example is where these seats would be. Wembley has AL5/AL6 for example on sale. Which is litterally directed behind the LED wall of her stage set up.  If you can find me a picture of someone sat behind the stage. Facing the LED wall then be my guest.

Again tickets not behind the stage and to the side of the stage. Making me think the Wembley one will be updated.

As for the prices, that very, very good. None of this 'In the thousands on resale sites' that someone here is predicting.

I can imagine London prices being a fair bit higher but I'm happy with these.

Sure looks like plenty of people are behind the stage to me... and in south america its more extreme but lets not even get into that.

Again, no one is DIRECTLY behind the stage as the Wembley Stadium seating chart is making out. I don't understand how you're not comprehending what I'm saying. The Anfield one does not have anyone behind the stage. The pics that you've posted, have empty seats behind the stage.

I know the wembley one isnt correct but you still want to argue that people sitting in section 130,230,330 etc at wembley with barely a screen and no proper view of the stage are "in front" somehow. Theyre going to sell obstructed view seating wether you like it or not. Nobody will care as long as theyre in the buildinv. They actually could sell directly behind the stage and theyll get snatched up in no time cause people are that desperate.

... I'm not arguing that? Infact I'm not arguing anything. I stated and I quote 'I can't see them having seats behind the stage. They haven't anywhere else in the world for this tour'

Then you came in with 'they'll have seats borderline behind the stage'. Which I 1. Didn't disagree with and even pointed out on the Liverpool screen and 2. Wasn't even what I was f**king talking about. I stated 'Show me seats directly behind the stage, behind the LED wall' and you showed pictures that didn't show that.

What the f**k is your problem. Trying to start arguments on a forum about seating charts is f**king weird.

Please give it a rest. We said those seats you posted, you can still see some action either on the diamond or the screen. You’re literally saying they COULD sell directly behind the stage. You’re literally talking in hypotheticals. They’re obviously not selling seats right behind the stage

How, please tell me how. This is me arguing are 'in front'.

Anyway. The Liverpool map can’t be finished yet because it doesn’t even have different tiered seating - meaning they’d all have to be problems. I think there will still be the front standing like at wembley

Yep. also I still don’t buy the idea that they’d spend millions on rebuilding the Annie Road end with more seats, hospitality etc just to continue having the concert stages at that end. Would be a complete waste.

Didn’t their website say it was on the opposite side? 🤔

How sad.

people willing to pay £100 odd quid to sit there and watch a screen. Madness. Go see a gig at a smaller venue and support artists that aren’t gouging fans by charging that much for no view whatsoever what I say.

    • Had a lovely day in Prague now off to the festival. Very excited hope we all have fun regardless of weather!!
    • Iran are winning. If US aren't going to do the full invasion thing, then they may as well admit defeat and do what is needed to get the strait opened. Iran obviously have decided they can take any pain and stick it out as they have all the cards with this Hormuz thing. But obviously Trump can't admit defeat, and Israel just want this to keep going...and maybe it will carry on like this till after elections in both US and Israel towards the end of this year. God knows how the global economy will be by then.
    • All kicking off in N Ireland, all aided and abetted on videos that get circulated on social media and Elon Musk and Tommy Robinson telling people to take to the streets. Social media needs regulating same as publishers, if they have algorithms that push whatever to people then they are effectively publishers anyway. The problem is just going to get worse and worse.
