Sad news, for her and for us. I discovered her thanks to the line up poster and was hoping to go see her set.

She just pulled out of a festival in Norway one week before Glastonbury. Doesn't look good.

Do we know if she is playing Primavera as I'm sure that was meant to be her first show back.

I was looking forward to seeing her but the Wolf Alice clash was brutal. Hope she gets this all sorted.

«Unfortunately due to girl in red's ongoing recovery from a vocal nodule, her specialist has stated that while progress has been made it is still too early for her to return to performing. To do so would be to undermine and elongate her recovery, which understandably isn't something that can be considered. We're devastated to have to cancel these performances but appreciate your understanding, and we're looking forward to coming back as soon as we can to see you all»

This was the statement from her management posted through the Norwegian festival, which is after Primavera. I think you can assume she's out.

Same.  I'd resigned myself to missing her as there's no way I'm going to miss those Blue Weekend songs being played on the big pointy thing.  I'm sure I'll get the chance to see her locally some time after the festival instead.

Man this is probably what I'm most excited for. I'd be happy if they just played BW in full.

 

Girl in Red has I think announced a show at Brixton for 2023 if anyone is gutted about this & interested .

Yes looks ominous. I thought she might just have been thinning out her schedule in which case some of the bigger festivals might have made it but sounds like she is still resting her voice. Interesting to see who will replace her as this could be significant for my Friday plans.
