Ticket Delivery

By some miracle my brother spotted our postie yesterday (we work together opposite my house) and he signed for my tickets, which were from the Guardian so sent separately. 
 

Just arrived home after 10 days away to no post other than my tickets. Happy tears! Feels so real now!

I was in the same boat but got our dispatch email yesterday, tracking is now in the RM system, delivery tomorrow, hopefully !

The dispatch tracker has been stuck on 62% for a few days, if this is correct they're gonna have to get a move on!!

Email yesterday and tracker saying ready to post or whatever. I had hoped for today as it's "guaranteed by 1pm special delivery". But I suppose they didn't saw which 1pm, so I'm expecting tomorrow!

Well having fallen off the Tracker since 31.05.24 and having exausted all hopes, I got a knock on my door early yesterday morning, the envelope, slightly trodden on but ticket intact!

 

I had managed to get a leter from a Friend who works in Royal Mail, which was enough for SEE Tickets to say, hold tight, if they do not arrive we have a contingency plan in place and not to worry - its hard to get a reply from See Tickets but when I did they were very reassuring - hang in there anyone else who is waiting! 

 

See you all on the farm next week.

Oh this is great news, delighted for you.  What a nightmare though !!!  You can FINALLY relax and enjoy the build up now.

Last time at WV we got parking tickets on the Monday of festival week. We were hours away from leaving. Had receipts, proof of purchase etc ready in case we didn’t get them.

I was in Germany until Thursday (Scotland fan, so less said about that the better) and came back home to a "something for you" card - turns out I had just missed the postie by 90mins!  Our sorting office opened at 8am the following day, so I was there for doors opening at 7.55!

I was having this conversation in a WhatsApp group and people were adamant they don't come more than 10 days before the festival, I've had the majority of mine in May

Just looked at my dispatch email from last year and they were sent on 30th May.

 

obviously no patten etc but I think mid May is slightly early for them to go out.

I checked back at my pics on the iPhone and most in mid May for me (typically starting 18th).

The majority don’t come less than 10 days before. Over 20 years, earliest mine arrived was 11 May, latest 8 June. Hopefully by end May this year before I get all twitchy!

In the resale we got two tickets for two people in the same order who live at opposite ends of the country. The tickets apparently get sent to the lead booker. Is it possible to amend things so that each ticket gets sent to their individual addresses? Just would like to avoid them having to meet on the way as travelling on different days.
