The lady is for turning. What a disastrous start to her leadership. They had a choice, uturn on one of her main leadership pledges, or risk markets crashing and potential political suicide, especially during tory conference. Just have to see how much trust there is in the government amongst the public, Tory MPs, and the markets after this.

Watching her New York and LK interviews gave me the impression she was on the back foot. 

Johnson would have done better and immediately been on the front foot and made better more positive sound bites. 

She really is poorly qualified.

Northern geography obviously not MisTrusses strong point. Surprising as she grew up in Leeds. 
 

I’d be interested in seeing the route from Hull to Bradford without getting congested in Leeds. 
 

Then for the leg to Liverpool there’s a little something called the Pennines in the way. 
 

There’s a very big reason why more lines don’t exist East to West.
