Windfall tax on energy companies coming today...won't fix the problem, but govt can say they're using that money to help poorer people pay their bills...hopefully..

Impressive work from the Opposition forcing a Government with an 80 seat majority to take on their policies.

If we get money off bills every time Spaffer creates a scandal we should be living cost free.

At least they have finally given some support to people, it’s a shame it’s months too late.

Dishy Rishy saves the day 🙂

Dishy for PM!

Rishy Callaghan. Didn't think I'd see the 70's repeat in my time. I wonder if fighting inflation with inflation will work this time?

Its funny to watch you struggle in the face of a policy that actually goes very fair to help a lot of people.

He’s not against the policy. He’s against the government only bringing it in to distract the country from their latest shitshow.

Don’t use logic against the right wing trolls.

Lets see how much this does help, I have a feeling it might not be enough but at least it’s a start.

Yep. As I said the most important thing is to protect Johnson so now they’ll finally help people.

    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
