I’m sure most people have seen this by now but Michael Moore has put his Trump 2016 victory documentary Fahrenheit 11/9 up on Youtube free to watch. Giving it a rewatch now:

Genuinely hadn't seen it, didn't even know it existed... Have probably seen the title flash up, read the date the wrong way around, and skipped it...🙈 (Because I've obviously seen the other one.)

Thanks for sharing, absolutely mind blowing stuff.

Again on this, seems right wing Twitter is in absolute meltdown over this poll and have gone from ‘HA TRUMP 2024 LIBTARDS’ 🤣🤣 to ‘uhhh don’t let them demoralise you we can still win this’ 😟😟

General consensus seems to be that even if it’s wrong about Kamala winning Iowa, it points to Trump being in really bad shape statewide regardless.

If the rest of the nation shifts in the same way the Selzer poll thinks Iowa has, this would be the electoral map of the nation.

Unfortunately don’t think it’s gonna be quite this good, although god wouldn’t that be something, but I’m honestly coming around to Trump getting sub 65 million votes and Harris getting upwards of 85 million votes, and I think it’s gonna be all over on election night and no waiting around until the weekend to find out the winner.

Yeah I don’t think Harris will win Iowa, but it’s all about the overall shift in demographics. You’d rather be her at this point in the race than him, and if women voters bring it home for the first woman president, well - that would be an emotionally historic achievement.

Obviously I know that it's never going to be that decisive but stuff like this gives me hope that it won't be as close as a lot of polls suggest.

The Iowa poll result means one of two things. Landslide for Harris, or polling in general is totally ineffective.

The margin of error on that poll is +/- 3.4%. So maybe not a landslide but hopefully the first signs of a last minute swing to Harris that could clinch it.

He's seems crazy to me yes, but not sure it's an illness, not sure he's cognitively diminished even, think he kind of knows what he's doing...he's almost about to become the president of the usa for a 2nd time.

think its an illness personally , maybe age or a combination of.... soon find out , very big for future

well...maybe...no actual evidence of an actual illness apart from everyone gawping at the mad sh*t he says like he has done for the last decade but also that he's getting on a bit. I think people shouldn't just say he's mad but question why so many people like what he says...it goes both ways too, I have the woke mind virus that's going around.

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
