Tunstall was born in Edinburgh, The Reid twins were born in Leith (part of Edinburgh) but I accept they grew up in Auchtermuchty. I think Steve Mason of the Beta Band is from Edinburgh.

I stand corrected it seems Steve Mason was born in Kirkcaldy, and grew up in St Andrews.

A quick look at KT Tunstall's Wikipedia reckons she was adopted into a St Andrews family at 18 days old so I call her for Fife over Edinburgh.

There used to be a Mr. Egg food outlet in Birmingham on the fringes of the gay quarter. It had a sign saying 'Eat like a King' for something like £2. Then underneath it said' Eat like a Queen for £3'.

Finlay Quaye's never Scottish is he? I went to secondary school with him in Manchester. Pretty sure he was there for all 5 years.

He was born in Edinburgh, went to school in Edinburgh, London and Manchester. He got about a bit.
