To anyone who is tempted to join the virtual meet but isn't quite sure (like I was) I'd honestly say give it a go. 

 Really friendly, entertaining and only the occasional weirdo 🙂 All eyes turn to me 😁

A bit of Dutch courage is not frowned upon, actually pretty standard with many of the attendees. 

Also, it's not unknown for info about the festival which doesn't get posted on the forum being shared on there from time to time.
