It's the future of liquid heating technology! Rather than putting the water in a kettle, boiling it, and then putting the water in a cup... instead you put the kettle in the cup! 🤯

Cup goes on the base, then the "wand" goes in the cup. I'm not sure exactly, but I think the base heats it, and then the wand acts as a thermometer to make sure its reached the desired temperature throughout.

- can be controlled both manually or with an app - which they have said will be updated to add more features

- can set it to heat to a specific temperature, from 30°C-100°C

- no plastics, BPA nor lime scale

- reaches boiling point a lot faster than most kettles, but is also much more energy efficient

- 50 trees planted for every unit sold

- As if people wont be impressed when you invite them over, offer them a cuppa, and then whip it out

 

Standard kettles are too primitive for me

does it slide into dms too ?

I’m wondering if it will ruin the brewing process of tea. It’s hard to replicate the action of pouring boiling water on to a teabag. Just dunking a teabag into hot water doesn’t give you the same effect.

Almost sold.  Demo it on the next meet (but no need to whip it put) and I may buy one.

Last time I whipped it out when someone came round for a cuppa, it ended up with a restraining order being issued.
