😂😂😂😂 sounds like a great way to start a fight

"I'll update your face!!!" 🤜💥

Can everyone witness this.

She has threatened me with actual bodily harm. If I show up to a meet covered in bruises you now know why.

No hangover is good news!! :) how much rum did you have??

My mate bought another bottle and I just messaged him and asked if we finished it:

"Yes.  You were wanting to get another bottle 🙄"

I think falling asleep on his sofa may have been for the best after akll!

I’ve just refreshed my rum ... I’m doing some trials pre glastonbury to see what I’m liking best ... I’m blaming @Quark for making me drink this stuff ... the bonus being it was double discount at work today ... anyone have any that they recommend ?

What do you recommend? I always just get Bacardi spiced (sometimes I get Pepsi Max instead of Diet Coke to live a little).

Ooh, thanks for the encouragement - maybe it's time I went pro and started drinking full time!

(This was a joke and in no way a cry for help - I only drink at weekends and will be the off the booze until Sat again!)

That Kraken is dark - it's good for a Dark and Stormy, but I struggled with it as a general rum.

Sailor Jerry and Bacardi Oakheart are my rums of choice.

A friend of mine has got me a bottle of this:

But I've not seen him to pick in up... damm lock down and tier 3. I will pick up a bottle of this for Christmas...

I love a good rum. A friend of mine used to partially own/run a rum bar in Liverpool.

I once drank pure handmade rum from a bottle made of rope on an island in the middle of the Indian Ocean that was only accessible by boat... and it was whilst I was working! That's a story for a virtual meet.

    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
