He's already done Stairway to Heaven and rarely repeats artists so might be a while.

Not related but i've been watching a couple of Black kids reviewing old music on YouTube ( Twinsthenewtrent ) , pretty funny and rather cool. Although i do wonder if their parents had locked them in a cupboard for 10 years whilst growing up when their posts are ' First time i've heard.... '

Those two lad are pure gold. I absolutely love them, especially (as previously mentioned) the main lad's facial expressions. Pure BB King.

My favourite so far

I hadn't realised that was Nina Simone, two posts about her in a row.

I'd never realised for years just quite what a genius she was. I'd lazily assumed she was just a good singer and hadn't realised what what a musical juggernaut she was. I'm ashamed to admit I'd always pictured a man playing piano on I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel (To Be Free). But she was the real deal, the full package.

I hope everyone's doing their homework and coming prepared to the next meet.

Next week's question: describe and differentiate the socio-economic and political  commentaries of "Regulate" by Warren G and "Informer" by Snow.

I find Rick's stuff a bit disappointing - he just describes what happens in the songs, rather than digging into what's effective about the song/arrangement.

Oh god, sorry Stu I'm just not at your level yet.

When is the next meet? Thought I'd missed it.
