One of the fondest memories I have of my mom is from the summer Grace Kelly was released. I was ten or so and playing football at a fairly decent level, so she and I would drive to a lot of games together.

That summer Grace Kelly became our absolute jam and we would listen to it before every game in the car. I wasn't much of a goalscorer really, but that summer I scored 3+ goals in a number of games, which was huge for me! She died a few years later and I always like to remember her back in that car with me, Grace Kelly on full volume.

Would definitely be there if he played. Life In Cartoon Motion was a great pop album, don't let anybody tell you anything else!

That didn’t half pull at the heartstrings reading that, I really hope he does it so you can have that special moment.

In the same ilk as this, what about James Blunt? Not really in to his music but he’s such a boss fella.

Blunt is doing arenas this year somehow. They'd probably lob him early day time on the pyramid.

Read through this thread. Lots of talk about how people remembered him from when they were 12. 10 years ago. That sounds pretty nostalgic to me!

Let's wait and see how successful his new material is to gauge if there is interest in his new stuff...

Check out http://instagram.com/revelation_tour_mika ! 😃🙌  you’ll see the interest there is in his brilliant new stuff !

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
