I guess if they announce AC/DC they won't be the only one. It's not a holiday in the whole EU

Apparently AC/DC, at the moment, rather want to have a seperate concert at Werchter grounds (TW Classic?) than to take part at Graspop (Thursday a' la GnR) but not definite. So that could explain the delay (still busy with negotiations).

ACDC? yeah i don't believe much of that tbh, ACDC is always a festival grounds show on it's own. especially when festivals like download and Rock am Ring are not able to book them why should graspop be able?

The Werchter grounds are a lot bigger, so i understand why they would rather prefer to go to Werchter. Due to the capacity...

But they did played both the Graspop and Werchter field "quite" recently without any ne wmusic (I think) and less and less original singers... So after a while those fields will be too big I guess... Don't think they were sold out when they played the Werchter field 3 years ago.

I was at first, but when they announced axel instead of Brian Johnson, many people started to sell their tickets. I went, it was actually quite good. But with Brian Johnson back in the line up, Graspop is not big enough. Mainstage 1 and 2 would be in their way.

Graspop field was because of planning issues and the fact that Rotselaar was waiting with giving their permission.

One call to the mayor of Dessel and the deal was done.

I was at the Werchter one as well, Axl did a mighty fine job! Think he's the only one who could do that job that well, maybe a close 2nd would be the singer of Airbourne

Yes, but the last poster, the one with first names soon doesn't have the date on it, while in the past this has always shown the date.
