If they got Eminem, he might have delayed the announcement again... I start to think that Sziget, Frequency & other fests really had RHCP, but they pulled out after the Frusciante comeback announcement and afterwards they booked Eminem who keeps postponing the tour announcement. Hopefully he didn't pull out too.

Think the Weeknd is very likely to be a headliner who changed his tour plans. Pukkelpop also had a headliner back out as well. Could be a few artists really but the Weeknd is the only one whose doing a solo tour instead now.

Fair play to frequency for explaining whats going on. Honesty goes a long way.

It simply also could be someone who chose Sziget or other bigger fests instead

Eminem isnt a last minute man. His plans go way back. He wouldnt do a replacement.

It's not about a replacement, it's about the fact that one or more headliners pulled out from Frequency, so they had to negociate with other big acts who became available in the meantime and all these happened in December... I don't really think that booking Eminem in that month can be considered as a last minute change, it doesn't look that late.

Eminem does only a really limited number of Shows each year. Neogations start at least a year in advance, even heard about 2. So for Eminem that would be last minute.

Quoting Ken from Mad Cool's forum:

He was never an option. Was a long time in the market for festivals in august, but they changed the course of direction.
Far more logical to do first an arena tour and on a later time festivals.

I doubt that somebody would be crazy enough to replace The Weeknd with Eminem. You can do that with Shawn Mendes or Dua Lipa, but Eminem is out of question

Does anyone know if there are any chances for rita ora this year? Since shes doing lolla paris in july too..

She was in the lineup 2-3 years ago,but cancelled almost last minute..plus she was at a different hungarian festival last year. So I dont think so

I finally had the time to go through the whole lineup. Gee those were a lot of names!

Anyway, my list in no particular order:

UNMISSABLE: Foals; Jon Hopkins; Sevdaliza; Caribou

MUST WATCH: Jamie Jones B2B Joseph Capriati; Of Monsters and Men; Daughter; Ezra Collective; FKA Twigs; Kolsch; Glass Animals; Parquet Courts; Kaytranada; I Hate Models; The Strokes; Viagra Boys; Tourist; METZ; Little Simz; Dixon; Giant Rooks; Bob Moses; Volac.

Definetely a well-rounded lineup so far this year, I will probably go for the whole week if the day split is sensed!

So basically the point so far is that sziget cant longer afford not to sell day tickets (i believe them to be a consistent part of revenues) but cant obviously do that without having announced the 7 headliners, each for a day. Though for this  it is waiting for eminem to come out with the tour, and there are no hints on when this will happen. Correct?

Can’t recall exactly when last years day tickets went on sale, but i believe it was well before march, am i right?

I dont believe in Eminem being on the Lineup anymore. Not sure if he ever was but even if the leakers were right I think it didnt work out.

He's been confirmed by 2 reliable sources, and they haven't said that anything has fallen through, so as far as I'm concerned he's still on it.

@Sziget2020_Leaks said that we "might have to wait for Eminem a bit longer". Don't know how much that means.

Anyway, in about 10 minutes the first Eminem in-person interview since the new album will premiere on YouTube. I don't know if we should expect him teasing a tour or something, but here's the video.
