Hello everyone,

I'm a third-year student currently researching for my dissertation on sustainability of UK music festivals.

I'm looking specifically for people who have attended the Glastonbury Festival in recent years. It takes no longer than five minutes and I would appreciate any help I can get with by filling this survey out.

Thank you.

Completed and same comments as morph.

As a courtesy, please come back and post your conclusions about the questionnaire. People very rarely do, which is unfair to those who spend time filling them in.

I will come back with the results in about 2 weeks.

All done, good luck! I'm sure there's plenty on here who have been through the Dissertation cycle before, if you want any advice or proof reading or whatever, do let me know!

Thank you.

That is very kind of you, I appreciate it. I will contact you if I need any help.

Good evening,

Apologies for the delay in response.

After analysing the data, it has resulted that 89% of respondents value sustainability and they are willing to change their behaviour towards environmentalism. All the respondents aged over 45 considered sustainability as being a significant matter, being the most concerned about environmental sustainability.

The findings also suggested that incentives would help in taking a greener approach. Even though attendees have noticed promotion of environmental sustainability when attending music festivals, they considered that sustainable practices should be promoted more by organisers in order to raise awareness.

Surprisingly, when asked which steps they would take in order to reduce the negative impact, using public transport or car sharing was the least popular choice. I believe the respondents are not fully aware of the negative impacts of transportation on the environment.

Thank you.

    • and still twenty one pilots must have a very persuasive management team, unless they are still rearranging the schedule, still seems really odd.
    • Phew, been waiting a while for a statement like this.     Well at least a few days since the last one

    • The only number I can find is 90k, but it doesn't really break it down in the way you're asking so it is up in the air in that regard. My only thing here is that I don't think Leeds is in danger or is flagging in sales. I thought last year had an awful lineup so I opted out but apparently a hell of a lot of people decided to go, so I really do believe it is just us lot all being out of touch with what the modern R&L audience wants.   I do think this year has a good lineup although I know a lot of people on here disagree with that, so I am gonna be there and we shall see what it is like on the ground this year in terms of attendance.
