Was hoping Nubya Garcia would be on the lineup for the Edinburgh Jazz Festival, but it was not to be.

The London jazz primer compilation We Out Here is possibly my favourite release of the year so far and even on that she stands way the fuck out.

I'm quite disappointed that my suggestion of Limp Bizkit didn't influence a wave of inclusions, leading to a thread which successfully alerts Glasto Towers to the demand for The Bizkit like the one for The Top.

Shit would be fun.

Limp Bizkit have a quality I rate highly in a band, the quality of each member looking like they belong to a totally different band and have ended up on stage together by accident

Wes Borland looks like he's enrolled in Goth 2 Boss.

Will all the people requesting Grimes be hoping she brings her new fella along for the ride?

Anyway, another ten from me:

Fever Ray

Vince Staples

Nabihah Iqbal

The Comet is Coming

Portico Quartet

Julianna Barwick

DJ Koze

Godspeed! You Black Emperor

Rustie (if he's in better health by then, obviously)

Just five more I've randomly thought of, am I ruining the spirit of this thread or bravely flouting the rules - you decide.

Julien Baker

Sons of Kemet

DJ Koze

Fatima Yamaha

Slipping Acid Pauli into one of your previous has just really caught my eye

    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
    • Not at all impressed with Polanski saying "noone should be barred from public life" wrt the Tory neo-nazi. I really don't think "no nazis in politics" should be an excessive standard.
