You doing Roger at Hyde Park in the summer?

Unlikely I'm afraid.  Got some hefty work commitments this summer, plus a very elderly dog to nurse :(

Keeping an open mind about the European dates though....maybe try for a last minute trip and pick up a couple of tickets on the night depending on how things go.....

To be honest the absence of GF this year has done us a favour as we're not really in a position at the moment to commit to anything away from home.

Sounds like you’re busy - hope you can make one of them though by hook or by crook. Wonder if they’ll have the full ‘Battersea’ stage set at Hyde Park?

Looking forward to it as I haven’t seen Roger since Glastonbury 2002! (Seen Gilmour all the Albert Hall several times mind...)

Best wishes also to your old pup...

I’m already nervous and feel like I’ll be well out of practice come October after no t-day in 2017 and not managing to get through myself on t-day 2016... may have to start doing F5 drills to get back to peak t-day fitness.

I'm starting to think that old son... BUT as with the NFRNFC thread this is like that abit of praying to the gods of the tickets... That's the ONLY WAY I can justify this now lol

No turning back now or the ticket gods will punish you for not finishing what you started!

    • Ah, that is interesting and ruins my theory a bit!!   I think my point just about holds though, and coming full circle on this discussion, being a sizable band such as Muse and not being able to sell out two O2 dates very quickly or at all doesn’t fill me with confidence that they be able to do a decent job selling a stadium tour…although maybe if Muse do something about their pricing, maybe they can!
    • I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift
    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
    • Second go.....    Still f**king fantastic - Well done WIlliam Orbit -  Bugman & Trimm Trabb mega tracks - No Distance Left To Run hauntingly Beautiful
