According some fanforums Springsteen is about to announce a new UK European tour for 2025. Tour announcement on tuesday.

Won't be holding my breath for announcement given there was also meant to be an announcement about a month ago and nothing happened

The idea is that it will be a shorter European tour, given that they've already run the continent two years on the trot. Believe it's going to be Australia in February, then a late May through early July run - probably seven weeks in all - for Europe.

I'm... guessing it'll close with those two shows at San Siro.

That San Sebastian show has long been rumoured. Best city on the planet.

I've got gold circle for that last San Siro show - which'll be a nice consolation prize if I d@b down in the ticket sale - but goddammit I wanna do both

...I've just bought the last side-of-stage ticket for San Siro #2.

So, at the very least I can say that I will know somebody there, even if they are a mile away from me in the gods. 🤣

I also have one of those. Hoping that a couple of days in the Italian sunshine will serve as ideal Glastonbury recovery, or that if I fail I can get a ticket somewhere in the ground for the Monday night and make a week of it.

All down to Milan for the eFestivals faithful.

Oh interesting, never been but that endorsement makes me interested! Not for Bruce as it'd be mad not to go to Liverpool (even if it is Anfield presumably...the Everton stadium isnt fully financed yet so doubt they'd gamble announcing that now)

I had wondered if it had been kicked down the line twice because of hopes for the new Everton joint. But we'll see.

Apparently the funding is in place as of a loan from these prospective new owners, but it does sound like Anfield secured them for this year when last year didn't happen. Hoping I'm wrong though!

I've not been to Anfield for a gig - or ever, actually. What's the joint like?

Me neither! Apart from Taylor, which I never had a chance of getting tickets for, there's never been anyone that's interested me. I'll be going for the first time if Springsteen is announced there though.

I expect tickets will be gold dust, but there is the small hope most who want to see him on this run have done so already now.

Unbelievable atmosphere. Genuinely unmatched in terms of stadium gigs for me.

Watching the Kop singing You'll Never Walk Alone as Keith Richards came out and started Gimme Shelter is one of the all time highlights of my gigging life

I've not been to one since 2008, which was excellent but I imagine things have changes since then.

I know someone who has been to a couple more recently and said avoid the tickets right at the top of the Main Stand as the sound is awful up there.

It's fair to say that particular we example may not be universally appreciated...anything that brings football into it is bad for me. If Everton fans do that at our new place I won't go to gigs there

Bodes well if the announcement comes!

    • Yes, she can just do stadiums and she's probably one step behind when you could have anyway. How Reading works this year though both top two are headlining with Chase probably more a closer due to darkness after Florence. I don't see Wolf Alice in the part of a top 6. If they go back to pure headliner and subs then yes.

    • Wolf Alice are supporting O-Rod in America soon, right? So yeah, I think as a 1/2 that would work. But equally was there any talk of her doing more touring next year beyond her 10 nights at the O2 or whatever it is?   Certainly, I think WA might take a year off themselves in 2027.
