Not really the strongest lineup, but I would be very happy if it looked something along these lines.

Friday- Main stage: Arcade Fire, The Xx, Chvrches, Cage the Elephant, Amy MacDonald, Saint Motel, Prides

Saturday- Main Stage: Arctic Monkeys, Liam Gallagher (like The 1975 last year with a special guest set), Royal Blood, The Vaccines, Wolf Alice, Slaves, Bad Suns

Sunday- Main Stage: The Killers, Travis, Haim, Kaiser Chiefs, Foster The People, We Are Scientists, Sunset Sons

Pretty solid Cage the Elephant and We Are Scientists would be very nice additions. Only changes I would make would be to put Royal Blood below Killers (don't think they'd play 3rd down) and maybe swap Kaiser Chiefs and Travis around.

Depeche Mode announced to headline a festival in France on the Saturday of TRNSMT, looking at their dates they don't seem to do gigs on consecutive days so they seem pretty unlikely now.

Yeah they don’t do gigs on consecutive days anymore.  Mr Gahan likes to protect his voice

The National playing NOS Alive in Portugal the week after TRNSMT.

They're in Europe around the time, still a good shout for a sub.

I doubt it as TRNSMT is Live Nation and The National are all ready doing the AEG All Points East gig in London the weekend before

Would imagine no summer sessions if they are filling 5 days?

Maybe. Foos were the big shout for GSS but this first weekend puts them back in the reckoning here.

Edit: I noticed Fall Out Boy don't have a Scottish date on their arena tour, potential sub for this?

Would they nix an arena date for a sub? That's the sort of thing they only do for headliners init? Not that I think they could headline given they were support for Biffy last year.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
