I feel like we will be making a mistake if we don''t replace Coutinho this window. 

RB Leipzig have come out and said they aren't letting Naby Keita leave until July and I don't believe there has ever actually been anything in the Lemar rumours.

Not really sure who is out there that would be a realistic target but I'd worry going into February if we haven't at least tried to fill the void left by Phil.

He is off in the summer anyway. And he clearly doesnt care at arsenal anymore. Not mant options

Also worth mentioning that although Salah, Mane and Firmino will get all the plaudits - Robertson and Wijnaldum were fantastic yesterday and Robertson has been very good for weeks now. For £8mil he looks like a bargain.

Unless they get Mahrez, not sure who else is out there. TBH i think they are ok attacking talent wise

Yeah he would be worth bidding for. We are ok attacking wise but I think one injury to one of the front 3 could change that quite drastically.

You are accurate on wasting it, City have outspent Utd every season bar once since the take over.

You can't replace him as a player. You can get more bodies in though, agreed. We're light up front.

not sure either way, but the latest rumour is they're not paying £90m for him so its not happening.

I'd say liverpool can risk it, if they want to.

They already know they have more quality coming in the summer, and much like they didn't buy a shit defender while waiting for VVD, it's worth getting the right player and not a wrong'un to fill-in for Phil too.

I'm glad the Mahrez rumours have died away. He's decent and could fill in a for a few months, but it's also a dead end.

I'm thinking that City don't score those last two goals if either of the following had happened...

1. VVD had been on the pitch

2. Klopp had left the same 11 players on the pitch. Taking off Can was madness (milner played a poor part in one of those goals).
