Aye, will be there.  Any thoughts of a meet up outside before the set?

can do :) I'm going to the front though :) to lend my support , not sure how busy the early acts on the john peel will be ? anyone hazard a guess ? weather dependant ?

They were awesome! So glad I finally managed to make it to the festival. It was very hard work and looked like it wasn't going to happen on Wednesday, but something came through very last minute and got here Friday afternoon.

It's my tenth Glastonbury and I have appreciated it more than ever before. Seeing October Drift this morning was one of those moments that made me so glad to be here.

Hope to see them moving up the stages in the coming years!

who made it to the jp ?

After grabbing an early morning pick-me-up I wandered through the dust and the rain to watch this. Knew of them before the fest so not a 'discovery' as such, but certainly one of the best new bands I saw all week. Smashed it and they appeared genuinely humbled by the whole occasion. Close to the best thing I saw on Sunday.

They were SO good on the JP stage. Top band and a lovely bunch of chaps.

I got blagged into doing something ridiculous and dangerous for them a few weeks ago when they were filming for their next video :D

    • I see, well even if they aren't on sale it's still not a disaster sales wise, it's not like they are struggling to sell a half capacity areana
    • Blue dot wouldn’t be a thing if Ticketmasters dynamic pricing went down as well as up, it proves that the dynamic pricing was just a scam to make more money rather than something that moved with the market supply/demand.
    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
