Except he never sent waves of drones killing nearly a thousand civilians or expanded intrusive surveillance powers.

Bauer wouldn't have let him, they'd only have ended up falling into terrorist hands anyway.

Who, once captured, would be given diplomatic immunity in return for intelligence.

Favourite film ever is lost boys so I may well be stalking the lovely Mr Sutherland around the site, just don't tell Mr Slash's hat.

But they would be taken out just before they could expose the real mastermind of the plot, the Vice President.

It was always the Vice President.

OT but has anybody watched the new series? It's all a rehash of the first one, even in the first episode they tazer the new head of CTU because they're not sure if they trust him, Bauer did exactly the same thing to Mason in the first series with a tranquilliser dart. The thing is having seen all of the original series I've seen it all before, but my wife never saw a single one so the new series is brilliant to her!

Not watched it. It's like Queen without Freddie, if there's no Bauer it's not 24.

I thought that might actually improve things as Bauer was invincible which kind of ruined it a bit for the last a few series, but the main issue is it's all been done and seen before so you can see everything coming a mile off.
