They're... not flying out in Leeds.

Anybody had sales issues elsewhere?

I can only see VIP and premium tickets for Leeds. And yes this is on the normal page not the VIP one. Not sure if this is a technical issue or if it has really sold that fast.

I did check Manchester for a friend who is thinking of joining me though and loads of tickets available.

There are plenty of standing and seated on AXS, 100 quid a pop though unless you want to sit in a back corner.

Rotten news to hear that. Hope you find something else soon!

I had an unofficial call from someone saying not to worry, so I'm not overly stressed. but its still annoying.

still not lost anything on these tickets and might be able to pick up a cheaper one at a later date.

Still a hassle. Been a while since I've been in that boat, but will be sorting a mortgage in the next six months, so kind of... tense on it myself.

Until it’s sorted then it’s not, only just passed my probation as well. Mortgage applications are okay so long if your not at your limit, they at least have an asset to fall back on.

just check all 3 credit agencies before applying, to make sure there isn’t any mistakes on it.

Don't think the big man's voice has ever been the greatest of shakes to start with, he sounded fine at the plastic beach show a few weeks ago and isn't miming his way through half the set in a Chris Martin fashion. Imo there are several too many dates on this tour and in the UK, which is almost an outlier in terms of their popularity, I'm not sure they are even an arena sized band outside of London. I even think they've maybe done a few too many London shows in last 4ish years to make the stadium a foregone conclusion.

If they're not an arena sized band then why are many of the dates selling so well?

Am a big fan but on Humanz in 2017 the Glasgow hydro must have been 2/3 full, saw the same tour in Berlin a month later and the arena was sold out...

I had tickets for Glasgow to their tour in 2010 (I think, was around then anyway) and if memory serves me right the majority if not the full tour ended up being cancelled due to poor sales as well. Does appear the hydro is sold out this time round and pretty quickly as well!

UK dates were rescheduled from the September to November, I'm not sure why - the whole roll out of a live sow seemed very chaotic - I think Coachella offered a big number and things progressed from there - a headline show at Glastonbury being one of your first ever gigs is NOT a great idea.

Glasgow was one of the few they just left cancelled.  Probably controversial to say but it's hard not to conclude, given the fates of various incarnations of Connect, and the dumbing down of T in the Park and TRNSMT, that there is a limited audience in Glasgow/Scotland for anything that isn't fairly MOR...

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
