Was initially worried about RTJ or someone shimmying over into that spot but shifting someone over from a different day/stage and having to rearrange the rest of it doesn't seem likely.

Either a new replacement or bumping up the sub are surely the easiest options. If the sub is Anderson .Paak he surely won't be bumped up, so I reckon they'll just grab someone who's around but not booked yet.

M.I.A.? Orbital? Ice Cube if he isn't ruled out by cost or anything?

As mentioned in another thread, bad news for those of you hoping for ATCQ to end your Friday night:

Pretty sweet they've got Ice Cube as a replacement at Roskilde, although somehow I don't see Glastonbury being so lucky.

I hope they're still playing Bestival

Mills and Arulpragasam are the two best rap artists to come from this country friendo.

Anyway. Not gonna be M.I.A. again so soon in the same slot.

Ah I was thinking she'd subbed it last time for some reason.

Hope it's Erasure.

No the ATCQ clash was already annoying they can fuck off if they're gonna replace them with someone else I wanna see.

I hope Ice Cube demands millions and tells them to piss off when they ask him to play for a few thousand pounds.

They can also piss off if they think about moving RTJ there.

I thought ATCQ might have been able to convince me away from RH, part of me isnt disappointed by this turn of events

In a perverse way I'm glad they won't be there. I definitely wouldn't have missed Radiohead, but missing ATCQ would have been annoying, especially with how dead my Saturday night looks like it's gonna be in comparison. Them not being there at all makes me feel a lot better. Obviously on the whole it's bad for the people who would have seen them, and for the act themselves.

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
