What's the cheapest bulk online order anyone can find? I'm away at the minute so only got my phone but cheapest I've found is £1.25 each which means 50 flamingo would be my max....if I can find a sub £1 offer I will go for the full 100...

I know people are very helpfull on this forum but has it got to the extreme of searching for bulk orders of inflatable flamingos ?:)

When you say it like that it is a bit beyond the normal, where's the best place to camp. I'll do my own research when I get home.

Can't quite believe I'm doing this, the rare sight of the sun today must have gone to my head.  Try here http://www.superfunstuff.co.uk/pink-flamingo-inflatable-197-p.asp  100 for £96.75 (hope I haven't broken any forum rules by posting this:lol:)

If I take a large amount of inflatable flamingos in a box through security will they prevent me thinking I'm an illegal trader or will they understand I just want to hand them out to spread the flamingo love?

It's a fantastic idea. In fact, it's a genius idea. Please, please go for it. You'll be adding to the festival spirit. If only we could be a fly on the wall for what them flamingoes are going to get up to? Perhaps you could have a little note attached to them asking people to send their photos of the flamingoes in to a central email address or something? The flight of the flamingoe would make for interesting viewing.

Nice one you big hippy. :)

Well this thread has really brightened up my rubbish 14 hour bank holiday work day!

Well if it is any consolation, I will be starting 12 hours overtime at 7pm.

I will stick a tenner into the fund anyway.

Just contact the Glastonbury Festival admin team and explain your inspired intentions. They will let you arrange delivery of said flamingos to Worthy Farm and then you can pick up the package on site. Your idea is inspired and the festival would be enriched by such a venture. I salute you.

Ok if I get my arse in gear I will set up a fund me page, hopefully get over the £96ish needed, any extra goes to water aid, any less I will top up.

once line up is announced we need to pick an act to meet up at and inflate and give out the flamingos.

Will update tomorrow after 10:30 with progress on operation flamingo.
