In a move that may or may not be pleasing to Ben, I subscribe to the rule that a band t-shirt should not be worn on their day, however I do aim to wear a t-shirt with a connection to a band on that day.  So previously, the t-shirt you see in my avatar was worn on the Thurston Moore day at Latitude last year, and LCD Soundsystem t-shirt was worn to Hot Chip on WH last year. This year, for Grimes, I'll be wearing this;

The Wicked + The Divine is a comic series which she drew a cover for, my original plan was to wear it to her day at Latitude, but then the creators of said comic were announced for the literary tent there.

T-shirt planning, serious business, start far in advance.

In my search for a Bowie tshirt to wear as my own (pathetic) tribute, I came across this.  A nod to Labrynth, yes, but it's actually a homage to the long drops.  It will be worn!

I am 100% in support of this approach, scruffy, even to the degree of awarding extra points for tap-of-the-nose hipsterism.

I am currently struggling with my own rule, as I am drawn inexorably towards wearing my pyramid-shaped Plaid t-shirt on Plaid day. I'm deceiving myself by suggesting that since Plaid are, in fact, playing at 0015h on Monday it's OK!!

I like the contrast of print design on background colour, and the text font.

You may wear this, my young apprentice.
