Might sound like a bit of a strange question but are there any Irish Bars on site or if not, what is the closest to one?.

Failing that any really shitty bars on site?. Ideally I'd like to find the shittest bar at Glasto. Thanks.

Some of the counter bars like Bar Boulevard or Dreamtime basically just that - long counters.....so one of them.

I don't mind it, but there is loads better.

However, it's better compared to other ales than Tuborg is compared to good lagers

That's a very good way of looking at it, maybe I should be thankful. Will still be happy when I stumble across some St Austell though.

Cornish arms in the market place is your destination then! Tribute, Proper job, couple of others too I think. Well worth a visit for an hour or two

I've always found the Park bar to be terrible. Two visits and both times the drinks were disgusting.

One of the bars on site will be mostly serving Brooklyn Brewery beers (presumably on the back of this tie-up between them and Carlsberg... http://www.morningadvertiser.co.uk/Drinks/Beer/Carlsberg-joins-forces-with-Brooklyn-Brewery) - but does anyone know which one?

Wow, Brooklyn would be some improvement on Tuborg. How do you know it will be served at all?

I could definitely drink some Brooklyn East.

Maybe this is what Emily has been holding from us?  If it's £5 for a 330ml bottle then I'm not interested, same price for a pint though... :P

I know one of the Brooklyn brand team and they've said they're working the festival pouring the beers - however she didn't know which bar she was on. It sounds like it might just be one of the bars that has the beers though, hence it'd be good to know which one!

Preach my brother.

We were banging on the shutters last year at 10:30am

I've been known to have on occasion what's come to be called a Brothers Breakfast. Things tend to get rather blurry rather quickly those days.

Its the Wednesday morning after sitting in the car park queue all night. Things get extremely blurry after a couple of pints

Yep, up since 3am, completely knackered - get to the first bar you see.  One or two pints later everything seems very surreal.

    • Yeah there is no down time, I'm still tired and over thinking from last weeks work. A big reality check this week. If you just do it for the money you always will.

    • Robbie Williams would fit with the current state of the legend’s slot, and he’d bring the house down.
