If you're staying in Leuven I'd recommend looking for the Colruyt in the city center. Much more choice concerning alcohol and cheaper than the Carrefour at the station, which is more aiming at the commuters passing by.

Thanks for this. Really useful. Spent an absolute fortune at the festival last time.

North Sea Jazz, a week after Werchter : Vintage Trouble, Steven Wilson (who also plays in Barcelona, 2nd July)... They would be great names ! Vintage Trouble seems really close to Werchter now (they are already at Bergenfest and NOS)

A reliable Belgian source at Live Nation told me Flume will be playing there as well this year! Quality name if you ask me!

sounds like it would be a great addition! flume is fantastic.

the announcements started shabby but the last couple seem to indicate a turning point. tomorrows announcement will be, to me, a moment of make it or break it.

im hoping for some bloc party, foals and weezer. if those three are added, then the festival is ON

Flogging Molly ruled out because of a different Belgian festival.

Bands likely to be in tomorrow's announcement:

- Foals (their Belgian concert was earlier this week)

- Walk Off The Earth (announcing a Belgian Summer date tomorrow and already playing Main Square)

- Nothing But Thieves (adding European festival dates tomorrow)

What is the likelihood of All Time Low do you know? As they're in Europe in June and played Pukkelpop last year

Foals would be excellent for me. Their last album was one of my albums of 2015.

Nothing But Thieves I would enjoy and just checked out Walk Off The Earth and they sound really good.

Hope you're spot on!

This guy on a different forum who now made several correct predictions on Belgian festivals (including Werchter) said something cryptic. He said that one of the main reasons to go to Best Kept Secret festival will also be a reason to go Werchter as of this evening.

Looking at that lineup and their tour dates, it would imply Beck or Beach House.

    • Avril gets above GC on rarity (see Cypress Hill this year). She drew in something like 70,000 at Glastonbury, so much so that they had to close the field off. I’d wager that she would get the biggest crowd of the entire weekend if she was to play DL.
    • We've reasonably predicted/wanted a bill of Blink, Avril, Good Charlotte for a while 😅    I'm surprised that Good Charlotte's UK shows in November seem to be doing well atm... obviously if they sell out those venues then they should be subheadliners right? (if they play download that is). They'd only look a strong sub if it was before Blink though I rekn.

    • Well Jason Isbell is on blistering form for this run of European gigs, wonderful night in Bristol
    • I am also interested in this. I was looking for past years, and it looks like it has a limited capacity.  I would love to see Ela Minus, but I guess I won't be able to make it in time, unfortunately.
