Interesting Friday line up. Not quite what I was hoping for in a techno night, but I'm sure it will be fantastic. Will be there for at least Neil Landstumm.

May make my way over for Bicep too, but I'll probably not be arsed with the crowds for that.

Excited for Caspa, not seen him for ages and not seen a dubstep DJ at Glastonbury on a long time.

Would suggest watching youngsta in block 9 was top draw in 2013

Lovely seeing Akala back, wonder if he'll be in Leftfield over the weekend too, hope so.

Friday looking the best for me, Radikal Guru, Zion Train & Celt Islam. Like to be around for Reggae Roast, they'll play some good tunes. Be cool if Brother Culture makes an appearance too.

this is pretty diverse. there is no rock but there is reggae, breaks, house, techno and loads more. plus stuff like back of beyond isnt really musical but can be a whole lot of fun! step inside.

I don't think you really need to know the line-up for The Commons. It's the sort of place you just wander into whenever, and see what's happening there and then. Great area, though.

Agree with this. It's all pretty similar and will all do a job at whatever point you stumble past it.

Again nothing but dance and other electronic music.......why do none of the night time venues cater for rock fans is what. I want to know? Got lots of venues all playing electronic stuff but not one decent rock bar? I heard rumours of one last year but I never found it.......they really need to get more diverse with the naughty corner booking.....we are not all dance fans haha
Only one I might possibly check out is Akala because I love his passion and his lyrics but barely even heard of most of the rest.

Have a look at the after hours thread. Plenty of suggestions for non electronic late night fun.

What's the rum shack like? Does it actually serve a lot of rum or is that just a name?

I've been in there a few times, they have a pretty decent drinks selection from what I remember. It was worth a visit and yes they had a selection of rum, which is exactly why my description of the place is so vague.
