seems all over the country had incredible sunsets, this was ours, only lasted about ten minutes but it was as if the sky was on fire!  Would have loved to see sunset over the Tor and farm tonight!

Lovely pic! 👍

Thanks, That’s the Isle of Arran in silhouette across the firth of Clyde.

Beautiful! We're thinking of going to some of the Western Isles in the campervan this summer. Other half has visited Harris and seen the Calanais Standing Stones, I've wanted to go for ages.

If you get decent weather it’s hard to beat. It’s strange, but at every opportunity we head south to Somerset!

Mrs semmtexx trained and worked in Edinburgh and Glasgow. She spent quite a bit of time pottering around the Isles. The pics and the descriptions are great.

Number of cars parked up towards the park, they were also a number of cars in this area yesterday.

There was indeed lots of banging there this lunchtime.  Can't run down steanbow now so I re-route across the pyramid and back to the railway track rather than become target practice

    • A question has crossed my (questionable) mind;   Has the size of the Green Fields remained the same as other areas have expanded / been added on to, since say, 2014 (the last time that I attended)? Are they 'lost' within, or well attended?    That's actually two questions. The second one just slipped in at the end by taking advantage of my lack of means to stop it.
    • I'd say the same about Kylie.    Annie would be awesome, Duran not so much, and on the issue of them wanting a beanie slot, that probably rules out a fair few others who I think would fit the bill very well... and are legitimately more entitled to a headline, and/or too expensive.   Was just about to suggest Chaka Khan, but see @Gnomicide has beat me to it!    What about someone like Bryan Ferry?
    • It's certainly gone more that way, but then they went completely in the opposite direction and had Cat Stevens.
    • Chaka can, or Chaka can't?
    • TVOD are playing Blue Basement in London 2/9 with a complete EOTR/Psych Fest shaped hole before their next gig in Lyon on 8/9. Well received in the Big Top last year, reckon they're nailed on for a secret set in the Tipi.
